Responsibilities
  • Deliver swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities as part of the centre’s programme.
  • Communicate with children’s parents/guardians regarding their development and advise on progression.
  • Supervise customers in the swimming pool and surrounding areas, ensuring safety and discipline.
  • Support the wider team and contribute to a positive, customer‑focused environment.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Teaching or teaching‑related experience, preferably with a Level 2 Swim Teaching qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to work closely with customers.
  • Basic Welsh language skills are desirable.
  • DBS check (or ability to obtain one).
  • Previous experience of coaching or teaching children and adults in a leisure or community setting is an advantage.

Working Hours & Compensation

Hours:

10.5 hours per week (rota basis). Salary:
Up to £13.70 per hour (competitive in the leisure sector).
