The governors of Johnston Community Primary School are looking to appoint a dynamic and inspiring teaching deputy headteacher. We wish to appoint a leader who is talented, innovative, committed and a proven excellent practitioner who has a passion for inclusive education and who will support our successful LRC Provision.
Johnston C.P School is currently in a soft collaboration with a small primary school.
Responsibilities- be an enthusiastic, inspirational, innovative leader with proven track record of excellent practice in teaching and learning
- understand the importance of creating a knowledge rich curriculum
- have a deep understanding of the pedagogy to support pupils development
- support a core focus on standards and supporting pupils to thrive academically
- demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills
- inspire every individual to try their best
- clear understanding of current key national and local developments
- be committed to maintaining high standards and continuous improvement
- maintain, develop and nurture partnerships between pupils, parents/carers, staff, governors and the wider community
- implement a shared vision for the ongoing development of this successful primary school
- the pupils of Johnston Primary School are looking for a deputy headteacher who is kind and approaches school with a smile
- enjoys teaching exciting lessons and making learning fun
- supports our sporting activities
- will work well with all of our teachers
