We’re seeking a skilled Behaviour Management Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and forward-thinking school in Swansea. About the Role

As a Behaviour Management Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils with behavioural, social, and emotional needs
  • Implement behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques
  • Work closely with teachers, pastoral teams, and SENCOs
  • Build strong, positive relationships with pupils
  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support
  • Promote a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
Ideal Candidate

We want to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience supporting young people with challenging behaviour (school, youth work, PRU, residential care, coaching, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A resilient, patient, and empathetic approach
  • Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
  • A genuine passion for helping young people grow and succeed

Team-Teach, PBM, MAPA, or similar behaviour-support training is highly desirable, but not essential.
