Senior Accounting Manager

Global software company headquartered in California, USA, with a finance team based in Massachusetts, USA, is seeking a hands-on Senior Manager of Accounting to join our global accounting team. This role involves managing the USA general ledger close process, working on technical accounting, preparing consolidated financials in Net Suite, and overseeing transfer pricing with foreign subsidiaries. We are looking for a CPA with 10-15 years of experience, preferably in an international SaaS technology company with expertise in Revenue Recognition.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare reconciliations for monthly and yearly General Ledger close
• Prepare monthly global consolidated financials with support from the Corporate Controller and foreign subsidiaries
• Assist in preparing financial reporting packages and corporate income tax returns
• Conduct technical accounting research and support implementation efforts
• Assist with software implementation (Net Suite or other systems) and potential acquisition accounting as the company grows
• Support other ad hoc projects as directed by the CFO and Corporate Controller

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 10-15 years of accounting experience, ideally in a SaaS environment
• Knowledge of US GAAP accounting and taxation (payroll, sales tax, multi-state income taxes)
• Advanced Excel skills and experience closing month-end periods in accounting software
• Hands-on experience with a proactive attitude and strong communication skills
