Warehouse Operative
Location:
Swanley
Hours:
8:00am to 5:00pm Monday – Friday
Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 + 6% Employer / 4% Employee Pension + 25 days holiday + bank holidays + life assurance + discount benefits scheme + progression + significant training
We are a highly successful international materials handling company. Join a friendly team of warehouse operatives and play a key role in the smooth running of the depot, maintaining the workshop and warehouse facilities, and ensuring all trucks are available for collection and that goods are checked in.
To be successful you will have experience in a warehouse environment.
The Warehouse Operative Role- Ensure all trucks are available for collection and report issues before the delivery driver arrives.
- Unload and distribute parts deliveries to engineers.
- Charge electric trucks and top up batteries so engineers can work on/collect with no delay.
- Load/unload all products with detailed records maintained and goods receipted on the system.
- Maintain housekeeping.
- Support workshop activities including driving, jump‑starting, and steam cleaning of trucks.
- Experience in a warehouse environment.
