Agincare is inviting applications for an Activities Coordinator to enhance the quality of life for residents at our Swanage care home.

Base Pay

£12.25 per hour, with a pay structure that reflects experience and performance.

What Is Required From You
  • A minimum of 12 months’ right to work in the UK
  • Availability for 30 hours per week
A Day in the Life of an Activities Coordinator
  • Companionship – providing support, communication and engagement with residents.
  • Creating activities – designing engaging activity plans internally and in partnership with external resources.
  • Event planning – organising events such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties.
  • Resident interaction – maintaining dialogue with residents to identify and implement their activity preferences.
  • External communications – coordinating visits from entertainers or businesses and arranging excursions.
  • Mobility support – facilitating independent living through activities like Zumba, ballroom dancing, or balloon tennis.
  • Social activities – organizing trips, social engagements, and inclusive activities for all abilities.
