Job Summary
This position will monitor the Student Center Ext. This position will check out Student Center Ext. (Game Room, Multi Purpose Room, Theater, Studio/Media Room) equipment, record student name/time (verify if they are a current student). This position is responsible for all Student Center Ext. equipment and outside sports equipment/games. This position will make sure all equipment is not being abused and/or used improperly.
This position may need to take some incoming call, take messages and answer general questions. This position may need to direct traffic to appropriate campus departments. May help with Intramural Sports if needed. Perform other special assignments as assigned by Department.

- Check out rec room (gameroom) equipment
- Report on time for scheduled work hours.
- Maintain a courteous, positive, and professional attitude.
- Provide support for Director and Coordinator of Student Life
- Complete tasks in a timely manner
- Multi task
- Be fair, impartial, honest and reliable
- May be involved in activities that take place outdoors. May be exposed to sun, heat, cold and/or other weather conditions.
- May help out with Intramural Sports if needed
- Work evenings and weekends (at times if event going on)
- Perform special projects as needed
- Other jobs and duties as assigned by supervisor
Must be enrolled in six credit hours with East Georgia State College and be in good academic standing.
Preferred QualificationsMust have good communication skills and ability to work with a wide variety of people. Must be able to work with a lot of noise going on.
Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesBasic computer skills are needed, including the ability to answer emails and create basic excel spreadsheets. The ability to provide good customer service is essential. The ability at times to help create flyers and posters for campus and event use.
