Job Role Overview
As a Community Care Assistant your role is to provide essential personal care and support to multiple individuals with a variation of needs, and essentially to help them maintain independence and dignity within the comfort of their own homes.
- Providing personal care such as washing, dressing, and supporting personal hygiene
- Assisting with meal preparation, shopping, and light household tasks
- Offering companionship, conversation, and emotional support
- Prompting or administering medication in line with individual care plans
- Observing and reporting any changes in wellbeing to the office or on-call team
Travelling between service users within Swadlincote (fuel allowance provided)
Working full-time hours, including some weekdays and weekends as part of a rota
Pay Rates
- Non-Qualified Carers:
Weekdays £12.65 per hour - Qualified Carers (Level 2+):
Weekdays £13.10 per hour
(Enhanced rates may apply depending on hours worked)

Requirements
- Full UK driving licence >
- Availability for full-time hours, including rota-based weekends
- A caring, reliable, and compassionate approach
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous care experience is welcome but not essential – full training provided
