As a GP Management Assistant, you will play a crucial rolein supporting the daily operations of our practice. Working closely with boththe management team and clinical staff, you will help ensure the efficient andsmooth running of our administrative processes. This, in turn, enables our GPsto provide high-quality patient care. This position is a permanent, full-time opportunity.
Main duties of the jobAct as the Digital Lead, collaborating with management to drive innovation and implement new digital technologies, maintaining and enhancing our modern patient access system.
Support new starters by conducting inductions, staff development reviews, annual appraisals, and training sessions.
Serve as the Data Quality Lead, managing patient recalls to meet practice contract requirements, including QOF, Enhanced Services, and PCN DES targets such as IIF Performance.
Assist in the coordination of appointments and rota management.
Undertake team lead responsibilities, offering administrative support and managing workflow documentation.
Handle initial patient complaints and work towards early resolution. Address patient queries professionally and empathetically, both in person and over the phone.
Support the management of practice rotas, meetings, and staff communications, and oversee the daily workflow processes in a team lead capacity.
Ensure compliance with practice policies, as well as data protection and confidentiality requirements.
Promote patient safety by participating in learning events and implementing learning outcomes accordingly.
Work closely with our Patient Participation Group to help enhance our patient experience.

Person Specification Qualifications- Good standard of education with excellent IT, literacy and numeracy skills, GCSE, A Level, NVQ, Diploma.
- Experience of working with the general public
- Experience and understanding of medical terminology
- NHS/Primary care Network/Primary Care General Practice administration role
-minimum of three-year experience - Experience in managing digital projects to support innovation and TPP
- Experience of LTC recalls and an understanding of the Quality and Outcomes framework
- Previous team lead or managerial experience
- Experience of taking and producing minutes
