We’re hiring a Community Growth Manager to own surrogate and egg donor acquisition through community-led growth. You’ll build and lead the communities where surrogates and egg donors connect, learn, and feel supported, from the moment they’re curious about the journey all the way through alumni status, and you’ll be accountable for turning that community into a pipeline of qualified candidates.
This isn’t a social media management role. You’ll own the full community strategy: designing the journey, growing membership, running programming, and building the recruiting infrastructure that converts community engagement into surrogate and egg donor applications. You’ll lead our Surrogate Community Advocates and Ambassadors, a distributed field team of real women with surrogacy experience who serve as trusted voices in the community.
You’ll recruit them, onboard them, train them, set performance expectations, and make sure they have the playbooks, scripts, and support they need to drive both community engagement and candidate pipeline.
If you’re the kind of person who lights up when building something meaningful from the ground up, who can hold space for big emotions while also tracking pipeline metrics and hitting acquisition targets, this role was built for you.
What You’ll Do- Own the community strategy for surrogates and egg donors, from awareness through alumni, and define what the experience looks like at every stage.
- Grow community membership through referrals, content, partnerships, events, and collaboration with our marketing team.
- Build and optimize acquisition funnels (landing pages, interest forms, nurture flows) that bring women into the community alongside or before applying.
- Be the day‑to‑day face of our communities across platforms like Facebook Groups, Slack, Teams, and private forums: welcoming members, moderating conversations, and keeping the space safe and supportive.
- Plan and run recurring programming: live Q&As, topic‑based circles, monthly themes, and educational series with coordinators, mental health professionals, attorneys, and clinic partners.
- Lead the Surrogate Community Advocates and Ambassadors program end to end: source and screen candidates, run onboarding, build training materials, set activity expectations, conduct regular check‑ins, and manage performance.
- Build playbooks, conversation guides, scripts, and outreach resources that Advocates and Ambassadors can use in one‑on‑one conversations, community spaces, social media, and events.
- Own surrogate and egg donor candidate pipeline targets. Track outreach activity, referral volume, application starts, and conversions across all Advocates and Ambassadors, and report regularly to leadership.
- Build and maintain tracking systems and performance dashboards for Advocate/Ambassador outreach, referral attribution, and candidate progression.
- Create community content (posts, prompts, polls, recaps, and resource round‑ups) tailored to where members are in their journey.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, operations, and case management to keep community messaging aligned with real processes, timelines, and campaigns.
- Track community metrics (growth, engagement, activation, referrals) alongside recruiting pipeline metrics (application starts, screening pass‑through rates, conversion to qualified candidate).
- Gather feedback from community members and Advocates/Ambassadors to identify friction points, then partner with internal teams to fix them.
- 3‑6 years in community management, community marketing, recruiting, talent acquisition, customer success, or a similar relationship‑focused role where you owned pipeline or membership growth.
- You’ve actually grown an online community, not just managed a social feed. You know the difference.
- Solid understanding of funnel and lifecycle concepts: awareness, activation, engagement, retention, referral.
- Experience recruiting, onboarding, and performance‑managing a distributed team of contractors, ambassadors, field reps, or peer leaders (strongly preferred).
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to discuss sensitive topics with warmth and…
