Overview
Position:
Single‑Family Residential Electrical Supervisor in Suwanee, GA. You will oversee day‑to‑day operations of our residential electrical services, lead a team of electricians, coordinate projects, ensure quality workmanship, and maintain compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of residential electricians, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and productivity. - Project Management:
Plan, organize, and oversee residential electrical projects from start to finish, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management. - Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all electrical work meets quality standards, codes, and regulations, conducting inspections and providing feedback to team members as needed. - Client Communication:
Serve as the main point of contact for residential clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the project lifecycle. - Technical Expertise:
Provide technical guidance and assistance to electricians, troubleshooting complex problems, and ensuring the proper installation and operation of electrical systems and equipment. - Safety Compliance:
Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment, conducting regular safety meetings, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements. - Inventory Management:
Manage inventory of materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring adequate supplies are available for projects and maintaining accurate records of usage and expenses. - Training and Development:
Identify training needs within the team and facilitate training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in residential electrical services. - Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in residential electrical operations, implementing best practices and initiatives to optimize performance. - Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including work orders, invoices, and permits, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Experience:
Proven background as a single‑family residential electrician with at least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience. - Licensing:
Must hold a valid Georgia electrical license and certification. - Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of residential electrical systems, codes, and industry standards. - Safety Compliance:
Knowledge of and adherence to OSHA safety standards and regulations; commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. - Leadership & Communication:
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Project Management:
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously; proficiency in project management software and tools. - Safety & Quality:
Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and high‑quality workmanship. - Driving Requirements:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. - Pre‑Employment Requirements:
Must pass a drug screening and meet all company safety and background requirements.
