Looking for a highly motivated and entrepreneurial-minded salesperson to cover a territory consisting of Augusta, GA to Columbia, SC. The position involves selling material handling equipment, dock levelers, doors, truck restraints, high-speed doors, and related products.

The position is assigned sales objectives to meet goals for unit sales and profitability. Responsibilities include calling on existing customers, developing new customers via prospecting, and promoting the company’s products and services while working with the Dock & Door Department team. Must be mechanically-minded, able to operate independently, and provide excellent customer service and account management skills. Looking for someone with relentless drive and competitive motivation to win.

• Develop solid client relationships and serve as a technical consultant to customers.
• Develop and grow your exclusive sales territory through consistent communication, familiarity with local market conditions and competitor dynamics.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of overhead doors, dock levelers and associated equipment lines.
• Provide estimates to customers for all regular work and repairs.
• Ability to read and understand building blueprints for quoting new construction products.

3+ years’ experience in industrial sales preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred or 3+ years of related experience.

Current unrestricted driver’s license.

Frequent walking, talking, hearing; occasional standing and sitting; occasional lifting or moving up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth, and focus adjustment.
