Electrical Assembler

Overview

We have an outstanding Contract position for an Electrical Assembler to join a leading Company located in Suwanee, GA.

Hourly Pay Rate: $20.00

Electrical Assembler performs a wide variety of electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical production assembly and subassembly operations of a skilled nature to build and assemble complex units such as power supplies, printed circuit boards, modules, cable harnesses, and electronic and mechanical systems and assemblies.

• Assembly operations include wiring, component installations, and hand soldering of connectors
• Assemble Microwave RF systems and circuits
• Disassembles, modifies, reworks, refurbishes, reassembles, tests units and corrects malfunctions as required
• Reads and interprets electrical cabling drawings
• Produces parts to original drawing or incorporates engineering changes
• Assembles and installs various electrical or electronic components where operation and sequence are specified by schematics, blueprints, wire lists, diagrams, verbal instructions, or established operations practices
• Uses a wide variety of specialized hand tools such as solder irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers

• Minimum of 2 years of related Electrical Assembly experience
• Proper dressing of cables and wires to accept connectors or other interface devices
• Attach connector components to wires by crimping and soldering methods
• The use of electronics assembly tools, wiring, and electrical assembly tools
• Attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Work with minimum supervision and recommend process or product improvements
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
