Overview
We have an outstanding Contract position for an Electrical Assembler to join a leading Company located in Suwanee, GA.
Hourly Pay Rate: $20.00
Electrical Assembler performs a wide variety of electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical production assembly and subassembly operations of a skilled nature to build and assemble complex units such as power supplies, printed circuit boards, modules, cable harnesses, and electronic and mechanical systems and assemblies.
Job Responsibilities- Assembly operations include wiring, component installations, and hand soldering of connectors
- Assemble Microwave RF systems and circuits
- Disassembles, modifies, reworks, refurbishes, reassembles, tests units and corrects malfunctions as required
- Reads and interprets electrical cabling drawings
- Produces parts to original drawing or incorporates engineering changes
- Assembles and installs various electrical or electronic components where operation and sequence are specified by schematics, blueprints, wire lists, diagrams, verbal instructions, or established operations practices
- Uses a wide variety of specialized hand tools such as solder irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers
- Minimum of 2 years of related Electrical Assembly experience
- Proper dressing of cables and wires to accept connectors or other interface devices
- Attach connector components to wires by crimping and soldering methods
- The use of electronics assembly tools, wiring, and electrical assembly tools
- Attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Work with minimum supervision and recommend process or product improvements
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
