Accounts Receivable Manager

Our client, a growing and well-established organization in the Consumer Services industry, is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to lead full-cycle AR operations. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for overseeing billing through collections while managing and developing a team of eight AR professionals. The ideal candidate brings strong operational expertise, people leadership skills, and a proactive approach to driving process improvement and cash flow.

• Manage the full‑cycle accounts receivable process, including billing, cash application, collections, dispute resolution, and reconciliations
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 8 AR specialists, providing daily guidance and performance management
• Maintain oversight of AR aging, identify trends, and proactively address delinquency issues
• Partner cross‑functionally with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance to resolve billing and collection matters
• Establish and enforce credit and collection policies while balancing customer relationships
• Prepare and present AR metrics, reports, and forecasts to senior leadership
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cash flow

• 5+ years of progressive Accounts Receivable experience, with end‑to‑end AR ownership
• 2+ years of supervisory or people management experience
• Strong knowledge of billing, collections, cash application, and AR reporting
• Proven ability to lead in a hands‑on, high‑volume environment
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
• Experience in the Consumer Services or Construction industry is a plus
