Intern - Industrial Engineer - Summer

Position: Intern - Industrial Engineer - Summer 2026
We are looking for an Industrial Engineering intern to support process improvement initiatives within our manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering who are passionate about efficiency, workflow optimization, and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing production processes to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost.
• Collect and interpret data related to workflow, material handling, and equipment utilization.
• Support the development and implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement projects.
• Create and update process documentation, time studies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Industrial Engineering program.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts and process mapping.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools; experience with CAD or simulation software is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
