Accounting Manager
Price Industries Inc. is seeking a detail‑oriented Payroll Manager in Suwanee, GA, to manage accurate and timely payroll processing, including reviewing time‑keeping records, calculating hours, and reconciling payroll data. This role partners closely with plant supervisors, HR, benefits, and accounting to ensure payroll integrity while providing responsive support on time, labor, and cost inquiries.
Responsibilities- Responsible for reconciling payroll prior to transmission
- Review details of daily time-keeping punches to ensure employee hours are recorded and complete
- Calculate pay according to hours worked, incorporating shift premiums and overtime
- Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data into the payroll system, as well as retrieving data when necessary
- Work with Plant Supervisors to obtain required data for payroll processing
- Responsible for reporting and fielding questions related to payroll, time, and labor costs from HR or management
- Interface with benefits team and providers, accounting department, and other key stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer service mindset
- Deadline-driven with a keen eye for detail
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Familiarity with accounting principles and a strong aptitude for math
- High degree of professionalism and ability to appropriately deal with confidential material
- Highly organized and efficient
- 4+ years of experience with time and attendance and payroll processing
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience with Multiple payrolls a week and multi-state processing preferred
- Understanding of proper taxation of employer‑paid benefits
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Prior experience managing external providers/suppliers
- Experience with Paycom preferred, however a good chance of new HCM system in next 12 months
