Production MAG Welder

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced MAG Welder to join a long‑established and well‑respected steel fabrication company based in Sutton‑in‑Ashfield.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder to join a growing team producing high‑quality fabricated steel products. The role offers long‑term prospects with a company known for its strong reputation, modern equipment, and supportive working environment.

• Carry out MAG welding on a variety of steel components
• Work from technical drawings to produce accurate, high‑quality welds
• Assemble and fabricate components to meet production specifications
• Conduct quality checks to ensure welds meet company standards
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Follow all health & safety procedures and workshop guidelines

• Previous experience in MAG welding (essential)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering/technical drawings
• Good understanding of welding procedures and fabrication processes

• 0800 - 1630 (Monday to Thursday)
• 0715 - 1330 (Friday)
• With overtime available from 0600 Monday to Friday and overtime available Saturday (overtime rate paid at 1.5x).
