Are you looking for a fantastic new opportunity? Sutton Community Academy are looking to appoint a Theatre Manager at Cornerstone Theatre.
We are looking for a Theatre Manager within Sutton Community Academy to join our team. If you are interested in working with young people and would like to help them as they prepare for their future working lives, we would like to hear from you.
About the roleCornerstone Theatre is an exciting new community theatre, cultural events venue and arts centre in Sutton-in-Ashfield in Nottinghamshire. Its programme will combine local community performances and events with a vibrant developing schedule of professionally programmed events from the worlds of theatre, drama, performance, music, tribute bands, exhibitions, comedy, film, children’s and family events, variety acts and more.
A theatre manager is needed to oversee the establishment and ongoing commercial sustainability of this project. The position will include responsibility for the operational functions of Cornerstone, as well as liaison with programmers, promoters,usuarios, artists, and local community groups to ensure the ongoing development and expansion of the programme so that it meets the needs of all elements of the local and wider community.
The role will also involve المناسبة liaison with the Academy and the Trust because the theatre is located and integrated within the secondary school.
This is an extremely exciting opportunity for the postholder to develop their experience and expertise in theatre management over a broad range of aspects, and to help shape the impact of Cornerstone as a community cultural facility. The post will inevitably involve a substantial degree of evening and weekend work which is when the majority of the Theatre’s events will be scheduled.
