Trade Counter Assistant / Driver

Eurocell is a leading provider of uPVC products in the building industry. We are a stock‑market listed PLC looking for enthusiastic team players who can grow with us.

Hours:

44 per week – Permanent, 7:00‑16:30 Monday‑Friday, 8:00‑12:00 Saturdays (rota). Base:
Site‑based.

Salary: £27,936 basic per year (plus OTE up to £31,536). Benefits include Healthcare Cash Plan, 3× Salary Life Assurance, high‑street discounts, staff discount, Christmas shutdown, occasional Saturdays only, no Sunday working, and a free healthcare plan.

• Lead by example and work closely with the Branch Manager and Supervisor on daily operations.
• Achieve trade counter sales targets while presenting product knowledge to customers.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to new and existing customers.
• Pick, load and deliver products to customers using Eurocell’s 3.5‑tonne flatbed trucks and LWB vans.
• Plan routes, drive safely and maintain the company vehicle.
• Support the Branch Manager with on‑time, on‑budget actions.
• Comply with health and safety, company policies and procedures.
• Maintain high standards in customer service, operational efficiency and branch sales.
• Assist in branch operations and maintain stock, warehouse and front‑of‑house cleanliness.

• Passion and energy to deliver excellent customer service and achieve business targets.
• Hands‑on, customer‑focused approach with confidence in engaging potential customers.
• Commercial mindset to drive sales and maximise margins while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Good organisational skills, ability to prioritise and take initiative.
• Confident IT user; experience with MS Office and SAP or industry standard software.
• Full & valid driving licence is essential; FLT licence a distinct advantage.
• Branch stock‑take experience a distinct advantage.
• Comfortable working in a small team and at times independently.
• Experience in a similar trade/builders merchant/retail, glazing or uPVC environment beneficial.
