Harvey Norman is a leading international retailer with 300+ stores. We sell everything from Furniture & Bedding to Home Appliances and Technology products. As we grow our presence in the UK with further stores, we are seeking a creative and highly organised Advertising Coordinator to support the delivery of marketing and advertising activity for our Furniture and Bedding departments.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role where you will coordinate campaigns from concept through to execution across Print, TV, Radio, and digital channels. This role suits someone with a strong eye for detail, confidence working with creative assets and a genuine passion for retail marketing.
The RoleAs Advertising Coordinator, you will take day‑to‑day ownership of advertising activity for the Furniture and Bedding departments. You will work closely with internal teams and external designers to ensure campaigns are delivered accurately, on brand, and on time. While this is not a design role, you will be expected to confidently brief designers, review layouts and provide clear creative feedback.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and deliver advertising campaigns for the Furniture and Bedding departments across print, TV, radio and digital platforms
- Brief designers and provide creative direction on layouts, messaging and format requirements
- Proof and review artwork, ensuring accuracy, consistency and attention to detail
- Liaise closely with internal stakeholders including Product, Design, Store, E‑Commerce and our Creative studio
- Support store‑specific advertising, promotional activity and seasonal campaigns
- Assist with wider corporate marketing campaigns as required
- Maintain a comprehensive marketing and advertising archive, ensuring assets and campaign records are accurately filed and accessible
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced retail environment
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a marketing/advertising role
- Strong organisational and administration skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple deadlines
- Confident communicating creative feedback, even if you are not a designer
- Exposure to retail or channel marketing is highly advantageous
- Strong computer skills; working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is an advantage
