Dispatch Supervisor

Our client are retailers of precious metals, Bullion & Coins and have an exciting opportunity for a Dispatch Supervisor, to join to their fast moving, small parcel dispatch team, due to further expansion. This role will support and deputise for the Dispatch Manager. Duties to include:

• Support and deputise for the Dispatch Supervisor with the management of the day to day operation of the dispatch department and the staff within
• Assist with upholding working practices and training schedules and documentation of all procedures
• Liaise with external service providers to support ongoing relationships and ensure costs are kept to a minimum for all services provided
• Responsible for all security within the department and its affect on the wider business in the absence of the Dispatch Manager
• Maintain departmental relationships and the communication flow
• Maintain a strong relationship with the Goods Inwards and Secondary Product Team
• Assist with stock take and work closely with internal teams to ensure up to date stock information is available and discrepancies are investigated and reduced
• Overseeing inbound and outbound deliveries and monitoring staff locations
• Assisting with the monitoring of packing material inventory levels
