Dignity is seeking a qualified, visionary Head of Health & Safety to join our Property Team, a role that is absolutely pivotal to our ongoing success and operational integrity.

• Strategic Influence:
  You'll set the direction for health and safety across the entire property portfolio, working closely with senior leaders and shaping policies that make a real difference.
• Team Leadership:
  Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of dedicated H&S professionals, empowering them to deliver best-in-class safety outcomes.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Champion a proactive, solutions-focused approach—analysing data, driving innovation, and embedding a culture of learning and accountability.
• Operational Impact:
  Your work will directly reduce incidents, improve wellbeing, and ensure Dignity remains a leader in compliance and risk management.

• Proven experience in a senior health and safety leadership role, ideally in a multi-site or complex operational environment.
• In-depth knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and best practice.
• A track record of driving cultural change, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
• NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) essential; further qualifications (NVQ Level 5/6, IOSH Trainer, IIRSM membership) are a plus.
• Outstanding communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
