Food and Beverage Supervisor

Department: Food & Beverage
Location: Moor Hall Hotel and Spa, Sutton Coldfield.
Hours: 24 hours over 3 days including a variety of shift patterns.
Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full‑time Food and Beverage Supervisor to support the day‑to‑day running of our restaurants, bar, and afternoon tea service. This hands‑on role is ideal for someone with a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and the ability to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily operations across the restaurant, bar, and afternoon tea service, ensuring smooth and efficient service at all times.
- Lead and motivate the team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Oversee table management, reservations, and guest flow to maximise efficiency and service quality.
- Maintain high standards of presentation and service, ensuring all brand and hotel standards are consistently achieved.
- Support with stock control, ordering, and cellar/bar management to minimise waste and maximise profitability.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and licensing regulations.
- Assist with training, onboarding, and development of the F&B team to encourage progression and high performance.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve any service issues in a professional and proactive manner.
- Work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to deliver promotions, seasonal menus, and special events.
- Contribute to achieving financial targets by driving sales and controlling costs.
- Strong communication skills.
- Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest service.
- Good knowledge of food, wine, cocktails, and afternoon tea service.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to busy service periods.
- Organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of health & safety, food hygiene, and licensing laws.
- £13.00 per hour
