An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an Tooling Engineer (Moulding) to join a leading 1st tier automotive supplier on a permanent basis.
The successful Tooling Engineer will be joining an innovative organisation who can offer a defined career path and further personal progression.
The Tooling Engineer will be responsible for managing tooling on time and to budget.
Further responsibilities will include:
- Delivering tooling, from initial concept and design through to series manufacturing
- Sourcing new tooling suppliers and leading Value for Money studies.
- Generate detailed project plans and forecast tooling spend
- Monitor, identify and resolve problems with tool manufacturing
- Ensure Tooling is managed within budget and to agreed timescales
- Co-ordinate tooling reviews, trials and tool buy off.
