SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) – 1:1 Support

Location: Sutton Coldfield
Duration: Full time, ongoing
Salary: £85 – £100 per day

As an SEN TA
, you will be a key member of the classroom team
, ensuring students receive support that assists them to achieve their full potential. Responsibilities will include:

• Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions to students with additional needs
• Supporting teachers with creative lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and engaging displays
• Building trusting, nurturing relationships with students to encourage independence and confidence
• Acting as a positive role model while fostering a safe and inclusive environment

Requirements:

• Qualified Teaching Assistant OR relevant SEN background
• Experience or training with PECS, Makaton, ASD, SLD, and complex needs
• Level 1 Safeguarding Certificate
• Recent school-based references
• Valid photo  (Driving Licence or Passport)
