Are you an experienced IFA Administrator looking to join a forward-thinking, client-focused wealth management firm in North Birmingham?
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a growing business where collaboration, precision, and progression are genuinely valued. You ll be joining a supportive, close-knit team working alongside experienced advisers to deliver exceptional client service across the full advice process.
The Role You ll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, supporting advisers and paraplanners, and maintaining accurate client records.
Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help the business deliver high-quality, compliant advice efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately maintain client records in Intelligent Office, including onboarding new clients and ongoing servicing
- Build strong working relationships with advisers and the wider team
- Review and improve administrative processes for efficiency and consistency
- Submit new business cases accurately, managing client expectations throughout
- Handle client transactions withdrawals, deposits/top-ups, and fund switches
- Issue letters of authority and liaise with providers to ensure prompt responses
- Manage client queries professionally via phone and email
- Support the client review process booking meetings, updating cashflows, and preparing review packs and valuations
- Produce protection and investment illustrations
- Manage your own workload effectively and keep advisers updated on progress
- Minimum 2 years experience in financial services (essential)
- Confident using Intelligent Office (desirable) and MS Office (essential)
- Practical experience with platform and off-platform transactions (essential)
- Knowledge of Transact, AJ Bell, or Standard Life platforms (desirable)
- Familiarity with tools such as Cash Calc, IRESS Exchange, and FE Analytics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high professional standard
- Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
- Salary: £27,000 £ 32,000 (dependent on experience)
- Location: North Birmingham (hybrid options may be considered)
