Position: Health Care Assistant (Contract)
Health Care Assistant – All-Through SEND School

Location:

Sutton
£97–£105 per day (depending on experience)
Full-time or Part-time | Term-Time Only

We are currently working with a supportive all-through SEND school in Sutton and are looking for a compassionate and reliable Health Care Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in a care or SEND setting who is confident supporting children with complex medical and physical needs.

About the Role:

* Supporting pupils with complex needs across the school

* Assisting with PEG feeding, manual handling, and personal care (including changing)

* Working closely with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals

* Supporting pupils’ physical development and daily care routines

* Ensuring pupils’ health, safety and dignity at all times

* Building positive, trusting relationships with students and staff

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

* Has experience working in a care setting or SEND school

* Is confident with PEG feeding, manual handling and personal care (training can be provided)

* Holds a DBS on the Update Service (essential)

* Has the Right to Work in the UK

* Is caring, patient and committed to supporting children with complex needs

* Is available for full-time or part-time work
