Job Summary

His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service is recruiting a Prison Officer for HMP Full Sutton, with a salary range of £33,746 to £38,003. Prison officers protect the public and help to make a positive impact on people’s lives.

• Work various shifts and weekends.
• Acts as a peacekeeper, providing security and maintaining order within the prison.
• Works as a counsellor or teacher, engaging with prisoners to support rehabilitation.
• Builds constructive, positive, professional relationships with offenders.
• Collaborates with colleagues to keep the prison, offenders and all staff safe.
