Domino’s Pizza is hiring bosses—specifically assistant managers. It’s a tough job that requires judgment, math skills, and the ability to multitask.
- Responsible for everything that happens during your shift: cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations. Set the example and follow all policy and procedures 100% of the time.
- Staffing, paperwork, cost controls, food management, scheduling, image and adherence to standards, customer service, attendance, punctuality, transportation, store cleanliness, marketing, profitability.

GeneralJob Duties for All Store Team Members
- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
- Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Orientation and training provided on the job.
Communication Skills- Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
- Make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders with motor coordination between eyes and hands.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Navigate maps and locate addresses within a designated delivery area, including adverse terrain and multi‑story buildings.
- Varying weather conditions during outside tasks.
- In‑store temperatures from 36°F to 90°F or higher.
- Sudden temperature changes.
- Fumes from food odors.
- Exposure to cornmeal dust.
- Cramped quarters such as walk‑in coolers.
- Very hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F.
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
- Talking and hearing on the telephone.
- Near and mid‑range vision for most tasks.
- Depth perception.
- Ability to distinguish hot and cold surfaces.
- Far vision and night vision for driving.
Direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, manage stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.
Additional InformationPhysical Requirements
- Standing: most tasks performed from a standing position, walking surfaces include ceramic tiles and linoleum.
- Walking: short distances and durations.
- Sitting: paperwork normally completed at a desk or table.
- Lifting: bulk product deliveries twice a week, lifted by hand truck, up to 50 pounds.
Delivery weights up to 50 lbs; stacked up to 72" high. - Carrying: large cans (3 lbs), pizza sauce (30 lbs), trays of dough (12 lbs) across short distances.
- Pushing: trays on dollies up to 30" require up to 7.5 lbs of force.
- Climbing: infrequently navigate stairs or ladders, up to five flights during delivery.
- Stooping/Bending: forward bending at the pizza assembly station, repeated continuously.
- Crouching/Squatting: occasionally to stock shelves or clean low areas.
- Reaching: continuously up, down, and forward, occasionally above 72".
- Driving: deliver pizzas within a designated area, multiple deliveries per shift.
- Hand Tasks: eye‑hand coordination essential, frequent use of hands, shaping dough, manipulating pizza peel and cutter, pinching in box assembly.
- Machines, Tools, Equipment, Work Aids: pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, pizzas…
- Driving Specific Duties: deliver product by car, deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Requires: valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle.
