Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday (we have a 1:00PM to 9:30PM or 9:00PM to 5:30AM available)

A Taste of the Role:

• Work with Quality Assurance on shift to ensure product quality standards, minimize held production, and ensure proper disposition occurs when holding product is necessary
• Ensure production for shift is on schedule and within budget, plan production for remaining shifts of the week
• Work with maintenance and the Production Manager to understand optimal machine setups, coordinate preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical problems, to optimize performance of equipment and facilities
• Ensure lean practices are being incorporated and continuously used to maximize efficiencies
• Coach and develop employees, correct deficiencies, and implement discipline procedures
• Ensure that the work environment is meeting safety and health standards and that equipment functions reliably
• Assist in carefully plan the utilization of materials and other resources to minimize waste, properly utilize labor, and minimize line downtime
• Work with shipping / receiving personnel to ensure proper FIFO of raw materials and WIP management
• Understand the role of IFS to ensure proper allocation of materials to production runs
• Participate in the selection of staff; provide or coordinate staff training; work with employees to correct deficiencies; implement discipline procedures; and provide timely, accurate, and thorough performance reviews for supervised employees
• Working hours are on a 2-2-3 schedule and from 5:00PM - 6:00AM

• Five years of manufacturing experience and 2-3 years of direct supervision in manufacturing
• Proven track record of achieving results through the growth and development of others
• Demonstrated ability to collect data, analyze and draw facts, make decisions based on those facts
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel
