Quality Tech​/Inspector

Responsibilities

• Interprets engineering drawings, specifications, control plans and instructions that align with management, engineering, and operations to validate product quality.
• Conducts walkabouts on the shop floor to test products at specified production stages, including receiving, in-process, and final inspections as needed.
• Manage MRB hold area and present weekly status updates via email, in-person or virtual meeting.
• Maintain flexibility to support quality control functions in both Sussex and Grafton locations depending on project needs.
• Identify deviations from known standards and take appropriate action. Demonstrate a problem-solver mentality.
• Complete all required records and paperwork, including inspection reports and return reports.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures applicable to the position.
• Follow clean-up and housekeeping procedures (5S).
• Understand and follow health, safety, security, quality, and environmental practices as required for IATF 16949/ISO 9001:2015.

Shift
: 1st shift - 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• ASQ Certification preferred.
• CMM operation experience preferred.
• 2 years of related manufacturing experience.
• Ability to use measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, pin gauges), test sets, and gauging equipment.
• Ability to read customer drawings and specifications; basic knowledge of GD&T.
• Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as dimensions and tolerances.
• Knowledge of Quality Standards.
• Knowledge of inspection equipment and techniques.
