QUALITY TECH/INSPECTOR

1st shift - (7am - 3:30 pm)

• Interprets engineering drawings, specifications, control plans and instructions that align with management, engineering, and operations to validate product quality.
• Conducts walkabouts on the shop floor to test products at specified production stages, including receiving, in-process, and final inspections as needed.
• Manages MRB hold area and presents weekly status updates via email, in-person or virtual meeting.
• Provides flexibility to support quality control functions in both Sussex & Grafton locations depending on project needs.
• Identifies deviations from known standards and takes appropriate action with a problem‑solver mentality.
• Completes all required records and paperwork to include inspection reports, return reports, etc.
• Follows all company policies and procedures applicable to the position.
• Follows all clean-up and housekeeping procedures (5S).
• Understands and follows health, safety, security, quality, and environmental practices as required for IATF, 19649/ISO 9001:2015.

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• ASQ Certification preferred.
• CMM operation experience preferred.
• 2 years of related manufacturing experience.
• Ability to use measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, pin gauges), test sets, and gauging equipment.
• Ability to read customer drawings and specifications. Basic knowledge of GD&T.
• Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math functions of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as dimensions, tolerance, etc.
• Knowledge of quality standards.
• Knowledge of inspection equipment and techniques.
