Town Hall Health Center (Menomonee Falls), North Hills Health Center (Menomonee Falls), Good Hope Health Center (North Milwaukee), Sussex Health Center, Calhoun Health Center (Brookfield), Sunnyslope Health Center (Brookfield), Springdale Health Center (Brookfield), Westbrook Health Center (Waukesha), Germantown Health Center.

40 - Shift: 1
- Schedule:
8 hour shifts between 7am-6pm, Monday-Friday
This patient-facing role is primarily responsible for performing hands-on patient care and supporting providers while in clinic. Typical daily duties include but are not limited to: interacting with patients while performing standard rooming, taking vitals, administering vaccines, setting up and turning over rooms, specimen collection, and assisting providers as needed. Completing patient refill requests, following our standard system refill protocol. Other duties as assigned.

The Medical Assistant (MA/MA Sr) is a healthcare professional and an essential member of the patient-centered healthcare team. The MA/MA Sr is instrumental in helping the patient feel at ease while collaborating with the provider throughout the patient's visit.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Remaining compliant with all organization educational, licensure or certification
- Cross-training and floating as needed to provide services across sites and to maintain optimal clinic operations

Compensation Note compensation for the positions below is based on market and experience including those with active certification or licensure.
Licenses, Certifications & Educational RequirementsMedical Assistant (MA)
Education
:
High school diploma (or GED) required plus one of the following:
- Completion of an MA program, or
- Completion of an EMT-Basic course, or
- Trained on the job MA AND one year experience in health care, or
- Completion of an MA Apprentice program
Certification
:
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Providers (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent required within 90 days of hire.
Experience
: 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.
Medical Assistant Senior (MA Sr)
Education
: HS Diploma or GED required.
Certification
: AHA BLS required within 90 days of hire. Additionally, one of the following is required:
- Military Medic/Corpsman training (must also obtain one of the certifications or licenses below within 6 months of hire), or
- Certified/Registered Medical Assistant through one of the following:
- A
-OE (Assessment-Based Recognition in Order Entry) - Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- NRCMA - Medical Assistant (National Association for Health Professionals)
- CCMA Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
- NPCE-certified Medical Assistant (NPCE)
- Other certification from an approved body as maintained by Froedtert Human Resources
- A
- Certified Paramedic, or
- Advanced EMT, or
- Graduated from an accredited LPN program with current active LPN license, or
- Other certification from an approved body as maintained by Froedtert Human Resources
