Medix is partnering with a global leader in protective packaging to find a hands‑on Engineering Manager. This high‑visibility leadership role oversees two manufacturing plants (Sussex & Elkhorn) and more than 27 production lines. • High‑Impact Leadership:
  Manage a high‑performing team while remaining hands‑on with machine redesign and process optimization.
• Capital Project Ownership:
  Own the full lifecycle of equipment upgrades—from CAD design to onsite commissioning.

• Technical Leadership:
  Lead and develop a high‑performing engineering team supporting extrusion and converting operations.
• Machine Innovation:
  Redesign existing production lines using Solid Works/CAD to meet custom customer specifications.
• Capital Upgrades:
  Oversee the installation and commissioning of new converting lines and automation upgrades.
• Cross‑Functional Strategy:
  Partner with R&D and Process Engineering to scale up next‑gen packaging materials.
• Vendor Management:
  Manage external vendors for equipment design, build, and integration.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering required.
• Experience:
  
  10+ years in Web Handling, Film Extrusion, Printing, or Converting.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficiency in Solid Works/AutoCAD and experience with PLC‑driven automation.
• Backgrounds:
  Packaging, Paper, Labels, Plastics, or Machine OEMs.
• The Mindset:
  Self‑starter who is excited to ‘roll up their sleeves’ and be on the production floor (100% onsite).

• Base Salary: $140,000 – $176,000 (Based on experience).
