Planner, Engineering, Civil Engineering

Location: West Sussex

We are working with a RC Frame and Groundworks contractor operating across the South East, and we are looking to strengthen our planning team with the appointment of an Assistant Planner / Intermediate Planner based out of West Sussex.

The Role

- Assisting in the production and maintenance of construction programmes
- Supporting tender and live project planning activities
- Progress updates, short-term planning and reporting
- Liaising with site teams, engineers, and commercial staff
- Helping identify risks, opportunities, and programme constraints

About You

We are open-minded on background and experience. You may be:

- An Assistant or Intermediate Planner with some exposure to RC Frame and/or Groundworks projects
- A Site Engineer or similar site-based professional looking to transition into a planning role

Previous experience within the RC Frame and Groundworks sector would be advantageous, but is not essential.

Key Requirements

- A positive, proactive attitude and strong willingness to learn
- Good communication and organisational skills
- An interest in planning and project controls

- Experience with planning software such as Asta Power project and/or Primavera P6 (preferred but not essential)
- Understanding of construction processes and sequencing
