The role
  • Supporting individual pupils or small groups with SEND needs
  • Helping children engage in lessons through adapted tasks and scaffolding
  • Encouraging independence, confidence and emotional regulation
  • Collaborating with teachers and SENDCo to deliver personalised support
  • Making sure pupils are safe, cared for and fully included in school life
What you'll need
  • Recent experience (and references) supporting children or young people (in school, care, nursery or similar)
  • Availability to work in Brighton on a regular basis
  • A genuine interest in SEND and supporting pupil wellbeing
