Licensed Psychiatric Technician - Susanville, CA

Job Title: Licensed Psychiatric Technician
Location: Correctional Facility in Susanville, California
Pay Rate: $55.00 to $57.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, 6 to 9 month contract with potential for extension

Available Shifts:

• Monday through Friday, 1:45 PM to 10:15 PM
• Friday through Tuesday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM

Requirements:

• Twelve continuous months of recent experience within the last three years providing direct patient care in a public or private facility
• Up-to-date clinical competencies
• Valid photo  as a drivers license or passport
• Current California-issued Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) license
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for clients
• Collaborate with service coordinators to develop individualized service plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
• Notify physicians promptly of incidents, condition changes, or the need for treatment adjustments
• Communicate clearly with staff and assist them in all aspects of care delivery
• Serve as a liaison between the physician, client, and interdisciplinary team members
• Complete incident reports, medication error logs, and drug reaction documentation in a timely and accurate manner
