Responsibilities
  • Support the operating room team by preparing sterile fields and selecting and passing instruments.
  • Maintain instrument counts and ensure aseptic technique throughout procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia providers, and surgical assistants to anticipate needs and reduce instrument turnover times.
  • Perform instrument setup, tray management, sponge and sharps counts, and turnover between cases in accordance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Gain exposure to a wide range of specialties, including general, orthopedic, vascular, robotics, and others, creating a versatile skill set.
  • Engage in ongoing learning opportunities, certifications, and hands-on mentorship to support advancement within the surgical specialty.
  • Adhere to policy and regulatory standards and contribute to a safe patient experience.
Compensation, Benefits, and Support
  • Competitive compensation with a weekly pay range of $1,674 to $1,801, based on experience and performance.
  • Guaranteed hours of 32 per week with extension opportunities.
  • Signing bonus may be available for eligible travelers; housing assistance provided.
  • 24/7 support for travel logistics, housing, credentialing, and on-site challenges.
