- Support the operating room team by preparing sterile fields and selecting and passing instruments.
- Maintain instrument counts and ensure aseptic technique throughout procedures.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia providers, and surgical assistants to anticipate needs and reduce instrument turnover times.
- Perform instrument setup, tray management, sponge and sharps counts, and turnover between cases in accordance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
- Gain exposure to a wide range of specialties, including general, orthopedic, vascular, robotics, and others, creating a versatile skill set.
- Engage in ongoing learning opportunities, certifications, and hands-on mentorship to support advancement within the surgical specialty.
- Adhere to policy and regulatory standards and contribute to a safe patient experience.
- Competitive compensation with a weekly pay range of $1,674 to $1,801, based on experience and performance.
- Guaranteed hours of 32 per week with extension opportunities.
