About
The Role
Surrey County Council is looking for experienced Social Workers to join our Children’s Services teams. You will work with children and families to assess needs, manage risk, and develop effective plans to improve outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of children and families
- Complete strength-based assessments and care plans
- Undertake child protection enquiries
- Work with partners to deliver coordinated support
- Maintain accurate and timely case records
- Qualified and registered social worker (Social Work England)
- Experience in children’s statutory services
- Strong assessment, communication, and report-writing skills
- Enhanced DBS and ability to travel across the county
