Carpenter​/Joiner

Position: Carpenter/Joiner (Permanent)
An experienced Carpenter/Joiner is required to join a busy workshop and site-based environment. This role will suit someone with a strong background in joinery and bespoke cabinetry, alongside the additional ability to fabricate and fit vinyl graphics. The position involves both workshop-based manufacturing and on-site installation, therefore a clean UK driving licence is essential.

Carpenter/Joiner
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm

Location:

Godstone

Key Responsibilities:

* Manufacture bespoke cabinetry and joinery components from technical drawings.

* Operate a wide range of joinery workshop machinery safely and effectively (including saws, planers, routers, edge banders).

* Assemble, finish, and install cabinetry to a high standard, both in the workshop and on-site.

* Apply vinyl graphics accurately, ensuring a smooth and professional finish.

* Measure, cut, and prepare materials precisely for joinery and vinyl applications.

* Work closely with design and production teams to meet project deadlines.

* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times.

About you:

* Clean UK driving licence is essential.

* Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or Joiner with strong practical skills using workshop machinery and hand tools.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists accurately.

* High attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.

* Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload.

* Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

* Formal qualifications in Joinery, Carpentry, or a related trade (desirable).

* Experience with CNC machinery, on-site installation, and fitting (desirable).

* Experience applying vinyl graphics, including surface preparation and application techniques (desirable).
