Shift Supervisor - Recycling Operations - Heathrow
Salary: £50,000 per year + performance bonus

Hours:

Monday-Friday, 5:00pm-4:00am

We're looking for an experienced Shift Supervisor to take charge of evening and night operations at a fast-paced, high-volume processing site. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for keeping the site running safely, efficiently, and to target.

You'll lead and motivate your team, maintain high standards of safety and quality, and ensure smooth production throughout your shift. Working closely with management and fellow supervisors, you'll play a key role in driving performance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage recycling site operations during your shift
Supervise teams to meet production and quality targets
Promote and enforce a strong health & safety culture
Monitor performance, reduce downtime, and improve efficiency
Communicate clearly with managers and provide effective shift handovers
Coach, train, and develop team members
Ensure accurate reporting, housekeeping, and compliance standards

What We're Looking For

Previous supervisory / shift manager experience in a high-volume processing environment
Background in engineering, maintenance, electrical, or plant operations

Experience with in waste or recycling (preferred)
Strong leadership, organisation, and problem-solving skills
Good working knowledge of health & safety
Confident communicator with a proactive, positive attitude
Flexible and reliable with shift patterns
