Job Title:

Classic Car Restoration Technician
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 Basic (DOE)

Hours:

Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm

Location:

Woking Area

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled Restoration Technician to join a well-established specialist workshop working on a range of classic vehicles.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a genuine passion for classic cars to join a friendly and experienced workshop team of five. The successful candidate will benefit from their own ramp and dedicated work area, allowing them to focus on delivering high-quality restoration work.

The role will involve working on a variety of projects, including mechanical restoration, structural repairs, and fabrication. Strong welding and fabrication skills are essential.

Our client is open to candidates who have gained their classic car experience professionally or through serious hobbyist projects, provided the quality of workmanship is high.

Requirements

* Experience working with classic vehicles (professional or hobbyist background considered)

* Good welding and fabrication skills

* Passion for restoration and attention to detail

* Ability to work independently within a small team

* Experience with British classics would be advantageous

Package

 * £40,000 – £50,000 basic salary depending on experience

* Overtime occasionally available

* Monday to Friday working hours (8:30am – 5:00pm)

* 20 days holiday plus bank holidays

* On-site parking

* Own ramp and work area within a specialist workshop

This role would suit someone who enjoys hands-on restoration work and takes pride in craftsmanship while working as part of a close-knit team.
