This role leads the end‑to‑end supply chain for an award‑winning manufacturer and supplier of sustainable products managing forecasting, inventory, logistics and 3PL performance.

The organisation is an established, award‑winning manufacturer and supplier of sustainable products serving major retailers, distributors, wholesalers and global brands.

Description

The Supply Chain Manager role will be based at our client's offices in Surrey and report into the Head of Purchasing & Operations. Key responsibilities will include:

Manage end‑to‑end supply chain operations, ensuring accurate forecasting, optimal inventory levels and on‑time delivery.
Analyse sales data to predict demand, prevent stock‑outs and minimise excess stock.
Oversee special orders, particularly printed goods and direct factory‑to‑customer deliveries, coordinating closely with Sales and customers.
Work with 3PL partners and freight forwarders to plan, track and optimise inbound and outbound logistics across the UK and Europe.
Monitor warehousing performance, costs and KPIs, collaborating with Finance to drive efficiencies.
Support NPD by setting up new supply routes in partnership with the Technical Services Manager.
Identify and deliver strategic improvements across processes, technology, cost savings and operational performance.
Produce regular reporting on vendor performance, KPIs, cost reductions and supply chain improvements.

Profile

The successful Supply Chain Manager will be able to work from our clients offices in Surrey 4 days per week and be able to demonstrate the following experience:

Highly analytical, confident working with data, and skilled at forecasting/demand planning.
International supply chain management experience, including import and export operations would be advantageous.
Exceptionally detail‑oriented, ensuring accuracy across inventory planning, reporting and process management.
Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, 3PL partners and customer supply chain teams.
Commercially aware, proactive in driving cost savings, improving processes and enhancing overall supply chain performance.
Adaptable, organised and able to manage multiple priorities within a fast‑growing, innovation‑led environment.

Job Offer

Competitive salary between £45,000 and £55,000 per annum.
5% pension contribution.
