Join our Childrens Community Health Team at HCRG Care Group, where you'll provide high-quality Occupational Therapy assessment, diagnosis, and intervention to children, empowering them and their families to achieve their full potential.

As a Band 5 Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in a multidisciplinary team, supporting children with a range of developmental and performance challenges.

Youll work in partnership with families, carers, and other professionals to enable self-management, independence, and well-being in childrens daily lives.

Base:
You will be based at one of our Surrey-wide office hubs, with the flexibility of hybrid working to support your professional and personal needs.

Main duties of the job
  • Carrying out high-quality ADOS assessments, as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) for children and young people
  • Assess and provide tailored advice and interventions for children with diverse needs.
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans in collaboration with families and carers.
  • Recommend and support the use of specialist equipment for home and school settings.
  • Liaise with professionals across health, education, social care, and voluntary sectors to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide sensitive and effective communication with children and their families, adapting to their needs and circumstances.
  • Contribute to team performance targets and participate in supervision, training, and team meetings.
  • Assist with prioritising treatment goals for children with complex needs or terminal illnesses, ensuring appropriate discharge planning and referrals.
