Complex Care Healthcare Support Worker

Position: Complex Care Healthcare Support Worker (Contract)

First Option Healthcare are a Complex Care provider who specialise in providing care to Children & Adults with Complex needs in their own home. You’ll deliver personalised care and support to our clients in their own homes to help maintain dignity & self-worth and promote independence.

We are looking for a caring, & bubbly Healthcare Assistants to look after a 7 year old boy in his own home based in Surrey RH7. This package will be starting in February 2026 so you will need to complete your compliance & registration in a timely manner in order to be ready to start in time.

Main Responsibilities:

* Provide 1:1 & 2:1 care to children in their own home. You will work alongside a Registered Nurse on shift

* Build rapport with family members and other staff members

* Making sure care plans are followed and client dignity & respect is practiced

Requirements for the role:

* Minimum of 12 months' experience working closely with people with children with clinical complex needs

* Ventilator Experience - CPAP/BiPAP

* Seizure Management

- Experience with complex seizures & Adminstering rescue medicine

* Tracheostomy - Experience working with children that have a Tracheostomy on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis

* You will also be required to take the child to school via prearranged transport

Shift Patterns

12 Hour Day shifts available Monday - Sunday

We need staff who can commit to a Minimum of 2 Shifts p/week on an ongoing basis
