• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment where children feel valued and motivated.
• Support children’s phonics, early reading, writing, and numeracy development.
• Use assessment strategies to track progress and adapt lessons to meet individual needs.
• Foster a love of learning through interactive and play‑based approaches to teaching.
• Work closely with parents and carers to support children’s development school.
• Collaborate with the Key Stage 1 team to develop innovative teaching strategies.

• A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent).
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 1.
• A strong understanding of early literacy and numeracy development.
• A creative and child‑centred approach to teaching and learning.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with staff and families.
• A commitment to providing high-quality primary education and supporting children's individual needs.
