£43,000–£48,000 per annum

C7 Architects is seeking an experienced Project Architect to join its established, residential design-focused studio in Surrey. The practice specialises in delivering high-quality, bespoke homes across Surrey and the surrounding counties, with a strong emphasis on thoughtful, context-driven architecture.

This is a Project Lead role, offering the opportunity to take ownership of multiple live projects and guide them from concept through to completion.

The Role

The successful candidate will manage approximately 6–7 live projects across all RIBA stages, acting as the primary point of contact for clients while ensuring each project is delivered with clarity, care and technical excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading design development across all work stages

Managing client relationships and providing professional guidance

Coordinating consultants and wider project teams

Overseeing project delivery from inception to completion

Maintaining design integrity alongside technical rigour

Ensuring compliance with UK planning policy and Building Regulations

Managing programme timelines and supporting commercial awareness

About You

C7 Architects is looking for a confident Project Architect who can run projects independently while contributing positively to a collaborative studio environment.

You will ideally have:

ARB registration (essential)

Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

Experience delivering residential projects, ideally bespoke housing

Strong design sensibility and technical detailing ability

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Revit experience (preferred but not essential)

Sound knowledge of UK planning processes and Building Regulations
