Quantity Surveyor

An excellent contract opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on a major highways contract in Surrey.
With an ambitious programme of works scheduled for the next 12 months, the team requires additional commercial support to help manage the high volume of schemes. You'll be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, delivering schemes in a busy period for the end client.

Role Overview :

· QS required to support major planned works, typically managing two large projects, alongside smaller-value, shorter-duration schemes as required.

· Role will involve a mix of delivery-focused commercial management and change control.
 
Skills & Experience Required (Both Roles)

· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

· Proven experience working with the Highways Method of Measurement.

· Demonstrable experience pricing and valuing works using a Schedule of Rates (all works are valued on this basis).

· Solid experience in change control, including valuation and commercial substantiation.
 
Rates are dependent on experience. OUTSIDE IR35 LTD route is an option here.
