7 months to less than 1 year. On the road. Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.
Responsibilities- Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand
- Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
- Professionalism in customer service
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Sell products over established routes
- Prepare, package and restock goods
- Accept and deliver messages and packages for events, conferences or assemblies
- Sort packages for delivery
- Follow directions and read map
- Use maps and other trip planning aids
- Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems
- Provide customer service
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Driver's Licence (Class 2 or B or
C)
