Transportation and Logistics Manager (NOC 10012) Job Details

• Wage: $90,480 – $120,640 per year (to be negotiated)
• Hours:
  
  30–40 hours per week
• Experience:
  
  2 to less than 3 years of relevant logistics, transportation, or warehouse management experience
• Work Setting:
  Warehouse and transportation operations environment
• Security and Safety:
  Valid driver’s licence required;
  Driver’s licence verification and driving abstract required
• Who Can Apply:
  Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada;
  Other candidates with or without a valid Canadian work permit

• Arrange shipping documentation
• Oversee tracking and tracing of goods in transit
• Manage fuel consumption and distance travelled
• Ensure transport operations comply with applicable regulations and standards
• Establish and implement policies and procedures for transportation and storage of goods
• Evaluate and manage daily logistics and warehouse operations
• Manage hours of service
• Organize and maintain inventory control systems
• Oversee scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and shipments
• Plan and organize operational workflows to ensure efficiency and compliance
• Prepare detailed reports for senior management on performance and operational metrics
• Record and monitor cargo information
• Supervise 1–2 team members
